Reviewing the framework, field by field
The competency standards on this site are working drafts. The ISoP Special Interest Group on the PV Professional Qualification Framework reviews them in place — signed-in reviewers can compare a proposed revision against the current text and leave comments on any line. This page is a one-page orientation to that process.
Invite-only
Access is by invitation from an administrator — there is no public sign-up.
Field-level
Comments attach to the exact block of text you click, on any page.

A reviewer-only toggle swaps the current text for the proposed v2 revision.
Getting access
1 · Receive an invitation
An administrator creates an invitation for your email and sends you a personal link (it looks like gppc.cloud/?invite=…). Invitations expire after 7 days.
2 · Set your password
Open the link — a “Redeem your invitation” box appears. Enter your name and choose a password (at least 10 characters). That activates your reviewer account and signs you in.
3 · Sign in thereafter
On any later visit, use the “Reviewer sign-in” pill in the bottom-left corner and enter your email and password. Your session is remembered on the device.
Nothing about reviewing is visible to the public. Signed out, the site shows only the current published content and no review controls.
Two ways to review
A · Compare versions
On a role page, a panel headed “Version under review · reviewers only” offers a toggle:
Switch to Proposed v2 to see the revised job description and the knowledge table with a verified source on each topic. The proficiency levels, prerequisites and KSA mapping are shared between both versions.
B · Comment on any line
Turn on Review mode from the toolbar. Every paragraph, list item and table cell becomes clickable (a teal bar appears on hover; a goldenrod bar marks text that already has comments).
Click a block, type your comment, and post. A sidebar lists every comment on the page; all reviewers see the same thread and can reply or mark a comment resolved. If the underlying text is later edited, older comments are kept and flagged “text changed — orphaned” rather than lost.
Prefer to read offline first? The complete v2 draft is also available as a single document: PDF (148 pages) or Word. It is generated from the same data as the role pages, so it always matches what the v2 toggle shows — comments are still best left here on the site, where they land in the review thread.
Reviewing a role, step by step
- 1Sign in, then open a role page from the Career Framework.
- 2Flip the version toggle to “Proposed v2” to load the revised content.
- 3Click “Review mode” in the bottom-left toolbar — the text becomes clickable.
- 4Click the citation or line you want to comment on, write your note, and post.
- 5Use the sidebar to reply to others or resolve a comment once it’s addressed.
Tip. Comments attach to the text you can see. To comment on a specific v2 citation, switch to Proposed v2 first — your comment then captures the v2 wording, which is what you want when reviewing the revised citations.
What the review markers mean
In the Proposed v2 knowledge tables, most citations were simply refreshed to their in-force version — those carry no marker. A small number carry an italic marker that flags where editorial judgement was applied and your input is most valuable:
A topic that had no source before now cites one. Please confirm the source is the right fit.
The draft generator applied a topic that may not belong to this role. A candidate for re-authoring.
A genuine duty (e.g. budgeting, business continuity) with no external regulatory source to cite.
A citation that was materially superseded and has been updated — chiefly GVP Module XVI (Rev 2 → Rev 3, 2024).
Good to know
- Draft standards are clearly labelled and are not official GPPC assessments until reviewed and adopted.
- Comments are shared across all reviewers of a page — this is a collaborative review, not private notes.
- The proposed v2 is a reviewable overlay: nothing you toggle changes the live published content.
- Administrators can invite further reviewers with the “Invite” button in the toolbar.
